We care very deeply for our puppies. Please read and reread our contract before deciding to purchase one of our puppies. We Guarantee our puppies against any Congenital Defects (defect occuring because of incomplete development in the womb and Genetic Defects (defects occuring because of genes passed on by the parents). Our Congenital Guarantee is good for two years, although the defects normally show up within the first year of life and are usually fatal. Our Genetic Guarantee is good for Four years, although the defects normally show up withing the first two years of life. We ask that you contact us immediatley if you suspect your puppy may have one of the above defects so that we can agree upon a plan of action. We stand behind our Danes and their puppies 110%.

The Breeder sells this puppy to the Buyer in accordance with the terms of this contract.
The Great Dane puppy will be held ONLY if a deposit is received, and it is still up for sale until such time as said deposit is received by the Breeder. Full payment MUST BE recieved before the Great Dane leaves Breeder's possession.
1. Price: The Total purchase price of the puppy is $______________. The deposit of $_____ was made on ______________________(date). The deposit is NON-Refundable. The price of the puppy is NOT NEGOTIABLE so don't ask. If you are willing to negotiate on the price of the puppy you would be willing to negotiate on the care of the puppy too and that is unacceptable.
2. Terms: Purchaser agrees to pay $_____________ as of this date as a deposit. The balance due of $____________ shall be paid on _____________ (date).

3. Guarentee: The puppy that you are purchasing is guaranteed to be of sound mind and body. It is also guaranteed to be in good health upon delivery and have the age appropriate vaccines and wormings done.
Buyer agrees to take their new puppy/dog and it’s health record to a veterinarian of their choice within fourty-eight hours to establish the current health of puppy/dog and to receive instructions on continuing care and a vaccination schedule. The Buyer agrees to contact the Breeder and provide them the results of the examination. If Buyer does not show proof that said puppy was taken to a Veterinarian within forty-eight hours upon receiving the puppy from the Breeder, the Buyer will FORFEIT ALL Breeder's guarantees in this contract. ____________ Initials
Breeder guarentees the puppy is free of signs or symptoms of Infectious Disease (Parvovirus, Distemper, ect.). Said puppy is in good health on the date of pick up or delivery and has been examined by the Breeder's Veterinarian. Said puppy has received age appropriate vaccination(s) for Canine Distemper, Adenovirus Type 2, Parainfuluenza and Parvovirus. A health record will be provided ro the Buyer upon pickup or delivery of said puppy. It is required that Buyer have said puppy fully examined by a vet within fourty-eight hours of receiving it and must provide Breeder with receipt within seven working days or Buyer will FORFEIT ALL Breeder's guarantees in this contract. It is recommended by the breeder that your puppy is not taken out "into the world" i.e. PetSmart, dog park, puppy play dates etc. until it has been properly vaccinated and has completed all of it's puppy vaccines_________________ Initials
Intestinal Parasites (Hookworm, Tapeworm, Roundworm, Whipworm, Giardia Coccidia): The said puppy has had a fecal examination done done by the Breeder's Veterinarian and has been de-wormed every two weeks. If at the fourty-eight hour examination, the said puppy is determined by a fecel examination to have intestinal parasites, Breeder will pay reasonable de-worming fees upon presentation of receipt. Puppy may not be returned to the Breeder because of Intestinal Parasites. If the Buyer chooses NOT to PROPERLY treat the puppy for the parasites, Buyer FORFEITS ALL Breeder's guarantees in this contract. ____________________Initials
Breeder guarentees that the puppy is free of genetic (defects occuring because of genes passed by the parents) and congenital (defects occuring because of incomplete development in the womb) defects, including but not limited to dysplasia of any kind, heart defects, eye problems and hyprothyroidism. If the puppy is a blue-eyed, white faced puppy, Buyer has been informed of the possibility of deafness and/or blindness, as well as other potential problems related to the color and those are NOT covered under this guarantee. The Buyer agrees to contact the Breeder immediately if they suspect a hereditary or congenital defect and the proper veterinarian documention must be provided so a plan of action can be made. There will be NO CASH REFUNDS given, the Breeder will replace the puppy with one of equal value.
The Buyer guarantees that they shall maintain the puppy/dog in good health and condition, including a regular vaccination schedule and heart worm prevention as recommended by a veterinarian, good diet and a clean, safe enviroment. Buyer guarantees that the puppy is being purchased as a family companion or as a working dog to be used for tasks appropriate to its breed such as a therapy dog or to be exhibited in AKC conformation, obedience or agility competition. Buyer guarantees that the puppy is NOT being purchased for resale nor will it be used or trained for activities which are illegal or for which it is not suited by reason of temperment or conformation. Specifically it will not be used as an attack dog or to hunt or fight other animals.

The Buyer understands that to neglect of any of the items mentioned above will make the health and genetics guarantees of this contract null and void. Many dog foods, lack of vaccinations, lack of heart worm prevention, lack of exercise or improper health care can cause diseases that look similiar to hereditary or congenital defects. Proof of proper care will be required by the Breeder if a claim of hereditary or congenital defect is made. If proof is provided to Breeder by any party that the puppy is not being cared for properly to the extent that abuse or neglect is obvious, Breeder reserves the right to reclaim the puppy and restore it to good health and resell it. The Buyer will NOT be reimbursed for the purchase price of the puppy.
Buyer also understands that if at anytime you are unable to keep the puppy or provide the puppy with the appropriate home and care, it is to be returned to the Breeder, absolutely NO exceptions. The Buyer agrees to notify the Breeder if any such contingency arises and will not abandon the puppy. Under NO circumstaces may the puppy be disposed of at a Pound, Humane Society, Animal Shelter, Pet Store, another Breeder, a Rescue, resold to an unfit home or given to an individual associated with a puppy mill. Legal action will be taken against the buyer should such occur. If for any reason stated above the puppy is returned to the Breeder there will be NO REFUND of the purchase price of the puppy.
4. Registering your purebred puppy: You will receive an AKC registration application form from us for your puppy. After you decide on your puppy's name, fill it in in the box indicated. Our Kennel name (RAAZ) will be the first word in your puppy's name and it has already been written in. We have filled out the rest of the form for you; your signature(s) are required. Then send the completed form, along with the appropriate fee to the American Kennel Club to register your dog and formally establish ownership transfer.
This puppy is sold with a limited registration (offspring ineligible for registration). The Buyer of this puppy will not receive the puppy registration application until said puppy is altered. ______________ initials
Buyer agrees to have the puppy spayed/neutered before they are ten (10) months of age. This is to discourage indiscriminate breeding and to safeguard the integrity of the breed. Buyer must present proof of the spay/neuter to the Breeder to receive the puppy registration application. Buyer understands that if the said puppy is NOT altered by the age of 10 months, the health and genetics guarantee of this contract is null and void. _____________initials
This puppy is sold with a full registration and will receive the puppy registration application as soon as the total purchase price is paid in full. ______________ initials
This puppy is being sold for breeding/show purposes. Due to many factors that contribute to the show ability of a dog the Breeder can not guarantee that it will be successful in the show ring as an adult and no warranties are made to that effect. If the Buyer uses the puppy for breeding and breeds it before it's second heat cycle or before it is two years of age which ever comes first the Breeder's guarantee is null and void.
5. Breach: If one clause of this contract is breached, all other clauses remain in effect and Breeder has the right to sue for all legal and other expenses incurred in enforcing the terms of this contract.

6. Laws: The laws of the State of North Carolina and Onslow County shall govern this Agreement.
